Chew and calm toys
This shelf is for toys meant to be chewed, carried or kicked: rubber, nylon, and the odd catnip kicker. A dog who needs to gnaw will pick a chair leg if you do not offer something sturdier. Match the material to the chewer.
Nothing here is a treatment for fear, and catnip does not settle every cat — plenty of cats get playful, and some ignore it. Take a chew away when it is small enough to swallow, and follow the maker’s size guide.
